Account Settings
Manage your profile, security, preferences, and data from the Organization Settings page.
Accessing Settings
Click Organization Settings in the main navigation or sidebar menu.
Account Tab
Profile Information
- Name — Update your display name.
- Email — View or change your email address.
Password
- Update Password — Change your account password. You’ll need to enter your current password and a new one.
Note: If you signed up with Google OAuth, you won’t have a password to change. Your authentication is managed through Google.
Preferences
- Marketing Consent — Toggle whether you’d like to receive product updates and tips via email.
- Theme — Switch between Light and Dark mode. Your preference persists across sessions.
Data & Privacy
Download Your Data
Click Download Personal Data to export all data associated with your account. This includes your profile information, forms, and responses. This feature supports GDPR data portability requirements.
Delete Account
To permanently delete your account:
- Click Delete Account.
- A confirmation modal will appear.
- Confirm the deletion.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your forms, responses, workspaces, and data will be permanently removed.

Settings Tab
Submission Email Notifications
Toggle whether you receive an email every time one of your forms gets a new submission.
- Go to Organization Settings > Settings.
- Find Submission email notifications.
- Toggle it on or off.
This is an account-wide setting. Admins can override it for individual forms in the form’s own notification settings.
SMTP Settings Tab (Pro)
Pro and LTD users can configure a custom SMTP server to send form notification emails from their own domain.
Configuring SMTP
- Go to Organization Settings > SMTP Settings.
- Fill in your SMTP server details: Host, Port, Encryption, Username, Password, From Email, and optionally From Name.
- Click Save Configuration.
- Click Test Connection to verify the settings work. A test email will be sent to your From Email address.
Once verified, the configured From Email will be available in the From Email dropdown when setting up Email to Responder in form settings.
Note: When editing a saved configuration, you can leave the Password field blank to keep the existing password. You only need to re-enter it if you want to change it.

Dark Mode
Toggle dark mode from:
- Organization Settings > Account > Theme, or
- The theme toggle available in the app navigation.
Dark mode applies across the entire application, including the dashboard, builder, and settings pages.
Help Documentation
Access the help center directly from the app by clicking your profile avatar in the top-right corner and selecting Help Documentation. This opens the Rowform Help Center in a new tab.
Tips
- Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.
- Download your data periodically as a backup.
- Keep your email address up to date to ensure you receive important notifications.
